DUMBBELLS CONVERGENCE | POSITIVE ANGLE

Lifting dumbbells while lying down is a physical exercise that is used in strength training to purposefully work out the pectoral muscles. This is one of the most popular chest isolation exercises. Both experienced and novice bodybuilders include it in their workouts. The exercise can be performed in a horizontal position or at an angle. If the athlete is positioned horizontally, the middle section of the pectoral muscles receives the maximum load. When a bench with a positive tilt (head above legs) is used, the upper area of the large pectorals takes over the bulk of the load. A negative tilt increases the load on the lower chest. The optimal angle of inclination of the bench is 25-30 degrees. If you install the bench at a high angle, you will not be able to pump your chest efficiently, since the anterior deltas will be actively involved in the work.
