DUMBBELLS PRESS | NEGATIVE ANGLE

DUMBBELLS PRESS | NEGATIVE ANGLE

It is widely known among experienced bodybuilders that push-ups on the uneven bars with a wide grip are one of the most effective exercises for developing pectoral muscles. This exercise often becomes a starting point for young athletes who do not yet have access to a gym. The simplicity and accessibility of this projectile on outdoor playgrounds contrast with its significant benefits for the formation of an athletic physique. A similar result, especially in terms of emphasizing the lower part of the pectoral muscles, can be achieved by bench pressing at a negative angle, performed on an inclined bench with your head down.

The head–down press is an exercise that requires special attention. Due to the unusual load vector, muscle coordination becomes more difficult than when pressing on a horizontal bench or with an upward tilt. Start with a light weight to avoid injury. Also, keep in mind that the upside-down position increases blood flow to the head, which can increase intracranial pressure. Be attentive to your feelings and don't overdo it.
