Do you want to achieve an impressive, monumental chest with a pronounced central groove resembling two tightly fitting slabs? Classical exercises such as bench presses and hand presses are not able to fully work out this area to achieve this effect. However, there is an effective solution: bench press with tightly clasped palms, for example, bench press a disc clamped between your hands. This exercise is the real key to developing the central chest area. But be prepared for the fact that it is as difficult as it is effective.
It is best to entrust the development of the correct technique to an experienced trainer, since this is a highly specialized movement. The main thing here is the maximum compression force of the disk with the palms, especially at the upper point of the amplitude. It is also important to monitor the position of the elbows, keeping them at right angles to the body, and actively bring them together in the upper phase in order to maximize the tension of the pectoral muscles. And, of course, safety is above all else: never place the disc over your face to avoid unpleasant consequences.
